Bored with the same local walk every day? Learn something new and turn your walk into a full-body workout! Fitness Pole Walking uses 90% of your muscles and can burn up to 45% more calories than regular walking. It is gentle on your joints, good for your back - and fun! Nordic Walking was invented by the Finnish Olympic cross-country ski team, who looked for a way to train harder during the summer season. Its special fitness benefits are achieved by the way the walkers use the poles with full upper-body engagement, which is different from trekking or from using a pole for safety reasons. 25% off: Two lessons (to cover the Foundation course): £60 instead of £80 (pole hire included).

Covid Safety: These private lessons - and later guided walks - can count as your daily exercise outdoors. It is legal to work with a sports trainer one-on-one, and we will take all Covid precautions very seriously to stay safe.
