I can help you 'grow your wings' with a holistic coaching approach that combines mental, emotional and physical elements; fully custom-designed to your needs. The coaching frameworks I use are grounded in my thirty years experience as a leadership coach in international companies. These models and maps will help you strengthen your 'development mindset', which will allow you to see challenges and set-backs as normal parts of life and as growth opportunities. This will be supported by skill development - depending on your needs we may work on communication skills, conflict management, stress release, 'managing up' (dealing with a difficult boss), or similar. Physical work is inspired by my twenty years experience as a Martial Arts teacher. I may show you breathing exercises and simple Tai Chi moves that help you balance and increase your energy. Or we may go on a mindfulness walk in nature to help you change perspective.... |

We will use coaching tools to help you explore your assumptions, mental blocks, resources and opportunities. If you step away from your doubts and inner barriers, you will find your joy.
Find new ways of Stress ManagementYou will learn how to manage your attitude and your physical reaction to stress, as well as dealing with external stress drivers more productively. You explore ways of giving feedback or saying no when you go into over-load. To supplement our coaching dialogue we will selected Tai Chi exercises and guided meditations to help you find your inner strength.

Weight Management MentoringWhether you need to loose weight or gain weight - we will not focus on calories or discuss the latest diets in these sessions. Instead, you will experience ways of re-connecting with your inner strength to bring your dreams alive and step into your joy. Living a healthy life and feeling active and engaged are much easier when you are connected to who you really are.
Based on your needs, we will create a program for you that will combine physical elements (such as Nordic walking, Tai Chi practices, breathing exercises, relaxation) with mental training (understanding your barriers and resources, guided visualisations). The overall goal: You make peace with your body, step into your full potential and 'grow your wings'. And you make positive change sustainable by using a set of tools that you practiced in the sessions. |
Coaching MethodsThe most important methods of our coaching sessions are deep listening and asking powerful questions. In addition, Andrea has a rich repertoire of tools: mental maps, models and frameworks, which can help you gather and organise your thoughts and decide your next action steps. As an example, we often use the GROW model to clarify goals, opportunities and resources, or the Change Curve to explore emotions and thoughts that may occur in significant life transitions.

Tai Chi PrinciplesTai Chi exercises can teach you how to relax the body while remaining present and engaged. You will learn how to breathe in stressful situations and practice some moves that foster relaxation and recovery.
Setbacks are a normal part of our life and work; through developing your 'inner warrior spirit' you will learn how to recover quickly and find constructive ways of dealing with barriers and resistance. Your natural resilience will increase - without having to push yourself so hard. You will explore hard and soft approaches to problem solving and conflict resolution (using the ancient Asian principles of balance and integration, Yin and Yang; the soft/flowing/receiving and the hard/fast/expanding energy). Learning to 'yield with purpose' - to consciously decide which challenges to engage with and where to let go - is an important martial arts skill. It can be easily applied to our everyday and work life. |
Mindfulness & MeditationYou may want to upscale your time management system, and we can help with this - but the true driver of the ability to manage stress is not time management, but 'energy management'. Regular mind- and body work will allow you to find and expand your individual energy-sources; discovering your 'inner power' and giving it focus and direction. We can coach you to clarify your purpose, priorities, values and guiding principles. Being more mindful of who you are and what you want to do - without sweating the small stuff - will help you live with more purpose and joy.
