My name is Andrea Bugari.
I am a leadership coach, martial arts trainer,
meditation teacher
and a Nordic walking instructor.

I combine mental and physical development methods
to help you reconnect with your inner strength, joy and wisdom,
​to achieve more success and satisfaction
in your personal and professional life.

My aim is to create a program for you that is fine-tuned to your needs.

Tai Chi Chuan and Kung Fu 
For health, fitness and fun.


Our school specialises in people who would like to start learning Tai Chi and/or Kung Fu late in life. Most of our students are over 50, the oldest is 88 years of age. Younger people are welcome, but we do not teach kids.
Tai Chi Chuan has many mental and physical health benefits: you will release stress, improve your focus, memory and agility; balance your mind, body and emotions;  and find new friends.
Kung Fu will give you the additional benefit of a fitness-workout and train your alertness through faster applications (no sparring). 
​We teach in a way that everybody can learn it; taking the long forms apart and arranging the moves in short sequences, so that they can be practiced more easily.  You do not have to remember all the moves to get health benefits. Practicing just a few moves will make a big difference for your health, balance, and stress release. 
You will also learn about the energy applications of Tai Chi or Kung Fu - how you can use the mental principles of these ancient arts in your everyday life. 

4-weeks Introduction courses (West Ealing)

  • ​You can start any time if you miss these courses.
  • ​Thursdays: Tai Chi Chuan and Kung Fu (6.45pm):  Next course starts 19 January 2023.
  • Mondays: Tai Chi Chuan (10.30am). Next  course starts 16th January 2023
  • ​Zoom class: private lessons to get started.

There are several ways to get started: We run short introduction courses three times a year, and you can also join i-between courses if you don't like to wait.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone wishing to take up Tai Chi.  It allows you to forget about everything else for the duration of the class and I find I am more relaxed in mind and more energised in body afterwards - Thelma

Ongoing classes

Mixed Ability Classes run every week. Several of our students are in their Seventies or Eighties... so don't shy away if your hair has turned silver.

Private lessons

In person or per Zoom at a time that suits you. You can either work on the full Curriculum or take a few custom-designed sessions to support a specific goal.

Nordic Walking
A full-body workout in nature.


Nordic Walking is the summer version of cross-country skiing, invented by the Finnish Olympic team. It is a full-body workout, as it uses 90% of your muscles - while being gentle on your joints.
It is great for your mental and physical wellbeing, heart health,  weight loss and fitness. Being outdoors all year round, rain or shine and in a great group of people, makes us feel happy and alive!
Foundation Course
​(2-hour course, West London):

2022: 19 Nov, 3 Dec
2023:  7 and 21 Jan, 25 Feb, 18 March
Can also be delivered to sports teams, clubs and walking groups in and around West London,
​at a time that suits you.

Guided Group Walks: Fitness, friends and fun in nature

I discovered areas of Ealing I didn’t know existed, met some lovely new friends, and improved my fitness and well-being. It’s the ideal form of exercise for me as it is gentle on the body and yet I get a workout without being exhausted at the end. Our guided group walks are targeted at different ability and fitness levels: Gentle, Active, and Dynamic. They provide a good workout, and allow you improve your technique and spend quality time with others. You must take our Foundation course before joining the walks.
Based on Covid 19 regulations, I currently limit the group size, therefore, you need to sign up for each walk.

Events can focus on fitness, fun and team spirit, or they can include modules about conflict resolution, effective communication and collaboration. The sessions can be stand-alone or added to a meeting or training seminar; this is great after a day of sitting down and 'thinking' together - get up and work with your 'physical intelligence'.
